CDDS Named as a FedHealthIT Innovation Award Recipient for Second Time

SoftDev proudly announces that our CMS / CROWN Data Discrepancy Support (CDDS) prime effort has been named among FedHealthIT’s list of 6th Annual FedHealthIT Innovation Award winners. This marks the second year that CDDS has been recognized for is innovation and impact to the CMS mission, the first being in 2018. The FedHealth IT Innovation award recognizes and honors the Federal Health technology and consulting community by celebrating programs nominated and selected by their peers for driving innovation and results across the Department of Veterans Affairs, Military Health, Health and Human Services, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The ESRD Program is continually working to improve its systems and the data housed within them. SoftDev’s work supporting ESRD Data impacts eligibility, delivery of care, and payments to Medicare Advantage Plans as well as a number of other facets of the ESRD Program activities. The FedHealthIT Innovation award recognizes SoftDev’s efforts, in collaboration with CMS, to streamline data reconciliation processes and improve transplant wait list reporting.  The new streamlined processes expedite reconciliation and have resulted in more than $100M in recovered revenues from improper payments. Our Transplant Wait List Report serves as a useful tool to participating providers as they internally assess outcomes and identify patients needing enhanced services.

SoftDev’s CMS Alignment of Quality Reporting Programs and Websites (AQPRPW) effort was also named on the 2020 Awardee list.  SoftDev congratulates all FedHealthIT Innovation Award winners.
