SoftDev Awarded a GSA Schedule 70 Contract

SoftDev Incorporated (SoftDev), a HUBZone and Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business, announces that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded the company a new IT Schedule 70 contract. This Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) gives agencies direct access to carefully vetted and proven vendors who offer information technology products and expert services to implement and manage them. SoftDev has supported federal agencies and customers since 2000 with program and project management, software engineering and software development, data analytics and reporting, and help desk services. In addition to the company’s existing contracts, the GSA Schedule 70 gives agencies streamlined access to SoftDev capabilities.

SoftDev Welcomes Melanie Marsh, Capture Manager

The SoftDev family is pleased to announce and welcome our newest team member, Melanie Marsh, as our Capture Manager. Melanie will focus on defining new business development strategies and help to position SoftDev in more contract awards.

Before officially joining SoftDev on April 18, 2017, Melanie provided SoftDev and other clients proposal writing and capture services as an independent contractor. Her career has spanned performing North Carolina Medicaid benefits analysis, mental illness case management, Sociology instruction, and clinical social work. For more than six years, Melanie supported Medicare beneficiaries in Florida and California performing conflict resolution, case review, immediate advocacy, and proctored the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Melanie earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of South Florida and her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Virginia.

SoftDev awarded as subcontractor on a Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contract

SoftDev is part of a Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contract award as a subcontractor for the DLA J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS). Our prime contractor is TecPort Solutions/Computer Aid, Inc. This is an IDIQ contract and the actual work will be issued and awarded as task orders under the contract. The overall IDIQ contract value has a ceiling at $6B, and the period of performance is a 5 year base plus 3 one year options.

The DLA is the DoD’s largest logistics combat support agency, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services as well as several civilian agencies and foreign countries.

The DLA JETS IDIQ will provide the full range of IT services, technical and management expertise, and solution-related enabling products. IT solutions include those capabilities, applications, software, hardware, infrastructure and systems across the DLA IT Enterprise. Support will be provided for IT solutions, technical support, maintenance and sustainment; operations support; application development, maintenance and technical support; and lifecycle management.

CMS Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) Award

SoftDev Incorporated (SoftDev) today announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), an operating division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, selected SoftDev Incorporated for the Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle.

Under the contract, SoftDev will engage CMS and other Federal agencies on strategic, technical and program management advice, guidance, and support services to facilitate the modernization of business processes and supporting systems such as the Federal Healthcare Exchange and Medicare/Medicaid information technology systems.

The SPARC IDIQ contract is a five-year base contract with a five-year option period valued up to a $25 billion ceiling amount. All task orders less than $29 million are reserved for the small business pool. SoftDev is one of the four HUBZone, 28 Woman Owned, and 54 Small Business contractors selected as a prime contractor.

SoftDev Awarded $7.7M CMS CDDS Contract

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded SoftDev Incorporated (“SoftDev”) the CROWN Data Discrepancy Support (CDDS) contract. The CDDS contract is sponsored by the Quality Improvement Group’s Division of ESRD, Population and Community Health within the Centers for Clinical Standards and Quality at CMS.

The CDDS contract is a 4-year contract that provides specialized expertise to analyze and resolve data quality issues, generate and distribute data quality reports, and improve the integrity of data from Medicare dialysis facilities to the CMS’ CROWNWeb system. SoftDev will receive and resolve Tier 3 help desk tickets on data discrepancies and perform data quality activities on End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Medicare beneficiary data. SoftDev will prepare and maintain technical user support documentation related to data discrepancy prevention and resolutions in the form of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and FAQs.

SoftDev held the previous CDDS contract from October 2010 through October 2013.

SoftDev Incorporated was awarded a subcontract with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in support of the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (FSA), for the Front End Business Integration (FEBI) Operations contract. The FEBI contractor provides complete end-to-end services to support the $110 billion per year Federal Student Aid programs, including application software development, database management, fulfillment, and customer support.
