SoftDev Awarded $7.7M CMS CDDS Contract

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded SoftDev Incorporated (“SoftDev”) the CROWN Data Discrepancy Support (CDDS) contract. The CDDS contract is sponsored by the Quality Improvement Group’s Division of ESRD, Population and Community Health within the Centers for Clinical Standards and Quality at CMS.

The CDDS contract is a 4-year contract that provides specialized expertise to analyze and resolve data quality issues, generate and distribute data quality reports, and improve the integrity of data from Medicare dialysis facilities to the CMS’ CROWNWeb system. SoftDev will receive and resolve Tier 3 help desk tickets on data discrepancies and perform data quality activities on End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Medicare beneficiary data. SoftDev will prepare and maintain technical user support documentation related to data discrepancy prevention and resolutions in the form of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and FAQs.

SoftDev held the previous CDDS contract from October 2010 through October 2013.
